Why conferences are important for DAFM students?

As students embark on their educational journey, the importance of gaining knowledge extends beyond the confines of the classroom. Well, these gatherings serve as catalysts for learning, exposing individuals to diverse perspectives, cutting-edge research, and industry trends. They go beyond textbooks, immersing attendees in interactive sessions, workshops, and panel discussions led by field experts.

Conferences foster critical thinking, inspire creativity, and spark innovation, ultimately shaping well-rounded individuals with the skills and insights needed to succeed in their academic and professional endeavours.
Students from joint Master degree study "Sustainability in Agriculture, Food Production and Food Technology in the Danube Region" - Danube AgriFood Master – DAFM participated in online 90 INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE OF YOUNG SCIENTIST AND STUDENTS, "Youth scientific achievements to the 21st century nutrition problem solution". This conference was organized 11 – 12 April by National University of Food Technologies in Kiev, Ukraine. Three students presented results of their study – 1. Bint e Hawa: A comparative analysis of nutritional composition and bioactive properties between edible larval and adult mealworms. 2. Jawa Hassan: Determination of nutritional properties and biological activity of some traditional Syrian sweets. 3. Emmanuel Duah Osei: Phytochemical composition of Coffea canephora Pierre ex a.
