From September 22 to 26, the E³UDRES² European University Alliance Autumn Summit brought together the vibrant community of E³UDRES² partners for a week of collaboration, reflection, and forward-looking dialogue. Held onsite in Portugal at Politechnic Institute of Setúbal, the event marked an important moment for the E³UDRES² Boards, which gathered to review progress and align future directions at the end of the second year of the current funding period.

In addition to the Board meetings, the Summit hosted the E³UDRES² Leadership Forum, offering a valuable platform for institutional leaders to exchange insights on key strategic topics and explore common interests. The Forum fostered an open and inspiring environment for discussing the future of the alliance and its impact on regional innovation ecosystems.

A highlight of the event was the final meeting of the E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators project, which concluded on September 30. Participants celebrated the project’s achievements and shared best practices developed throughout its lifetime, reinforcing the strong collaborative spirit of the E³UDRES² network.

The programme also featured workpackage meetings, and also a wide range of networking opportunities for diverse target groups, capacity-building sessions, and meetings of other E³UDRES²-related projects and initiatives. These activities encouraged dynamic exchanges and strengthened synergies across the alliance’s various strands of work.

Another key element was the Sines Leadership Hackathon, where leaders and regional stakeholders came together to explore innovative ideas for developing the future IPS Sines Campus in cooperation with E³UDRES². The Hackathon served as an inspiring example of co-creation and regional engagement in action.

Overall, the Autumn Summit 2025 was a moment of reflection and renewal. Participants looked back at the achievements and lessons learned so far, while collectively shaping the next steps toward an even stronger and more impactful European University alliance.
