Overview

The aim of the programme is to train ecotoxicologist specialists who, with their acquired knowledge of natural, biological (primarily ecological and toxicological) and social sciences, can independently recognize ecotoxicological phenomena. They are familiar with the fundamental principles of the main methods in ecotoxicology and possible ways of their implementation. Graduates can evaluate and remediate environmental damage, as well as to put their work in a social context. Our certified ecotoxicologists can be employed in many areas of the labor market: industry, research-development-innovation, services, public administration and all areas where knowledge of environmental risk assessment conforming to the regulations of the European Union is required. Graduates are prepared to continue their studies in a doctoral programme.
