  • Can I change my programme after admission?

    Changing the program is possible only from the second semester indicating your intention in the first semester as specified by financial status:

    • Scholarship holders: Check the changing rules and deadlines on your scholarship’s website. For SH more specifically: rules and procedures.
    • Self-financing students: Submit your transfer or programme-change request to your registrar’s officer — contacts are listed here.
    • Transfer fee: 5,000 HUF
    • Deadlines: January 20 (Spring) / August 21 (Autumn)
  • Can I transfer to MATE University from another university?

    Yes, transfer from other universities is definitely possible.

  • How can I apply for a PhD programme?

    Information about doctoral (PhD) programmes and the application process is available here.

    To find a potential supervisor, you may

    • contact the scientific secretary or international coordinator of the respective doctoral school or
    • browse research topics on the official Hungarian doctoral website where you can select a topic and contact the supervising professor directly.
