Overview
The objective of the training is to train supply chain managers who, with an understanding of the context of integrated corporate logistics management, are capable of managing corporate logistics systems and comprehensive supply chains. With the necessary theoretical knowledge and knowledge of modern practical solutions, they are able to plan, analyse, and develop logistics processes within and between companies, as well as manage them effectively. They are prepared to continue their studies in doctoral programmes.

4. Accepted as prerequisite for admission to master's programme
4.1. Basic training courses: in the field of economics, applied economics, trade and marketing, business and management, international business, finance and accounting, tourism and hospitality, human resources; in the field of political science, basic training in public service.
4.2. According to section 9.2, based on a comparison of the knowledge used as the basis for determining credits, the following subjects are included in the field of economics: economic and financial mathematical analysis, from the field of teacher training, business education, economic data analysis, from the field of IT training, economic IT, engineering IT, programme design IT, from the field of technical training, transport engineering, logistics engineering, technical management, basic training in mechanical engineering, as well as those basic and master's degree programmes and programmes under Act LXXX of 1993 on Higher Education that are accepted by the credit transfer committee of the higher education institution based on a comparison of the knowledge serving as the basis for determining credits.

6. Number of credits required to obtain a master's degree: 120 credits
- Orientation of the programme: balanced (40-60 percent)
- Credits assigned for thesis preparation and participation in project work: 15 credits
- Minimum credit value assignable to elective courses: at least five percent of the total credits required for the degree

8. The training objectives and professional competencies of the master's programme
The objective of the training is to train supply chain managers who, with an understanding of the context of integrated corporate logistics management, are capable of managing corporate logistics systems and comprehensive supply chains. With the necessary theoretical knowledge and knowledge of modern practical solutions, they are able to plan, analyse, and develop logistics processes within and between companies, as well as manage them effectively. They are prepared to continue their studies in doctoral programmes.
8.1. Professional competencies to be acquired
8.1.1. The supply chain manager
a) knowledge
- Has mastered the concepts, theories, processes, and characteristics of economics and micro- and macro-level economic organization and is familiar with key economic facts.
- Understands the structure and operation of economic organisations, their domestic and international networks, and the factors that influence and motivate them, with particular regard to the institutional environment.
- You are familiar with the European integration process and the European Union's policies related to its activities.
- Possesses the ability to identify, formulate, and solve problems, collect and process information using modern, theoretically sophisticated mathematical-statistical, econometric, and modeling methods, and is aware of their limitations. Knows the rules and professional and ethical standards of business, economic organizations, and project planning and management.
- Knows and understands the key business and technical processes that affect corporate logistics processes and supply chain operations.
- You are familiar with the key research areas in logistics and supply chain management, their conceptual framework, and the methodological foundations necessary for research.
- You have detailed knowledge of the toolkit of modern business solutions for supply chain management and IT solutions that support effective supply chain management.
- You are familiar with the internal structure of logistics systems, logistics processes and systems, and methods and procedures for planning, analysis, and development.
- Knows logistics and its subsystems, as well as techniques suitable for evaluating supply chain performance.

- Formulates independent new conclusions, original ideas, and solutions; is capable of applying sophisticated analytical and modeling methods, developing strategies for solving complex problems, and making decisions in a changing domestic and international environment and organisational culture.
- After acquiring practical knowledge and experience, manages medium-sized and large enterprises and complex organizational units, performs comprehensive economic functions in business organizations, plans and manages complex business processes, and manages resources. Able to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment.
- Able to formulate logistics developments and objectives that support corporate competitiveness.
- Able to effectively coordinate logistics process requirements and performance with other corporate functions.
- Able to manage and develop corporate logistics processes in a systematic manner, focusing on the processes themselves.

- Takes responsibility for their own work, the organisation they manage, their business, and their employees. Independently identifies, plans, and organises their own and their subordinates' professional and general development, and takes responsibility for it.
- When performing professional tasks, independently selects and applies relevant supply chain management problem-solving methods.
- By joining research and development and project groups, you will mobilise the knowledge, practical experience, abilities, and skills you have acquired in collaboration with the members of these groups.

9. Characteristics of the master's programme
9.1. Professional characteristics
The disciplines and fields of study that make up the profession and lead to professional qualification
- Economics and social sciences 20-30 credits,
- supply chain management, professional and methodological knowledge of logistics developments 65-75 credits, with a minimum of 29 credits in the fields of economic and social science distribution and supply management, logistics, strategic management, logistics simulation programmes, logistics systems, and value creation process management.
9.2. Based on a comparison of the knowledge used as the basis for determining credits, the higher education institution's credit transfer committee requested the following areas of previously acquired knowledge and competence necessary for completing the studies:
- basic methodological knowledge (mathematics, statistics, computer science)
- economics (micro- and macroeconomics, international economics, environmental economics, economic theory, economic statistics, history of economic theory, economic modeling, economic policy, sectoral and functional economics, community economics)
- social sciences (European Union, general and economic law, economic history, sociology, psychology)
- basic business and compulsory professional knowledge (business economics, economic law, marketing, management and organisation, decision theory and methodology, business ethics, activity management, value creation process management, strategic planning, finance, accounting, controlling).
