Second Life for Electronics – Conscious Tech Week at MATE
MATE’s Szent István Campus proudly joins the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) in 2025, hosting a dedicated sustainability program titled “Second Life for Electronics – Conscious Tech Week at MATE” between 24–28 November 2025. The initiative encourages members of the community to donate electronic devices that may be reused, repaired, or repurposed —helping reduce environmental waste and supporting social good.
In collaboration with Cseriti and Repair Café, we collect small household and electronic appliances that are clean, functional, and ready for reuse. Examples include mobile phones, cables, chargers, converters, IT accessories, and small kitchen devices. A detailed list of acceptable items is available here.
As part of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) 2025, MATE’s Szent István Campus welcomes participants to the “Second Life for Electronics – Conscious Tech Week at MATE” program series. The events, held on 24 and 28 November 2025, highlight practical, hands-on approaches to repair culture, reuse, circular resource management, and sustainable living.
