On May 21, MATE had the pleasure of welcoming SAXION and JAMK partners from the E³UDRES² European University Alliance. Colleagues participated in professional coordination meetings focused on innovation, collaboration, and future strategic objectives.​​​​​​

During the morning session, participants received a comprehensive overview of the university’s ongoing innovation and development activities, as well as the professional programs and initiatives supporting these efforts. The delegation also visited the Engineering Informatics Centre of the Institute of Technology, where they gained insight into the institution’s technological infrastructure and applied research environment.

As part of the program, the visitors were introduced to the Future Leaders Program, which provided a deeper understanding of the university’s talent development approach. The closing ceremony also showcased some of the students’ most outstanding projects and pitch presentations, highlighting the creativity, entrepreneurial mindset, and professional competencies of the participants.

In the afternoon, the delegation reviewed the current tasks and priorities of the E³UDRES² tasks and discussed the main objectives for the upcoming period, together with possible implementation strategies. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening knowledge sharing among the partner universities within the alliance and improving the transfer of best practices. In addition, several new ideas and initiatives were identified that may be developed into future project-level collaborations.

 The delegation expressed great appreciation for the professional work carried out at the university and for the achievements accomplished so far.
