MATE organised its first half marathon on 20 September, 2025 in Gödöllő. More than 560 people registered for this running event, among them international students from Szent István Campus.

The running event jointly organised by MATE and the Gödöllő University Athletic Club (MATE-GEAC), as well as the MEFOB (abbreviation for Hungarian University and College National Championship  half marathon, offered participants the chance to complete the full 21-kilometre distance individually, in pairs or in teams of four, or to tackle a shorter 5.1-kilometre distance. The half marathon started in front of the Szent István Campus. The route, certified by World Athletics, passed through the heart of Gödöllő and the picturesque park of the Royal Palace, with the finish line located on the Ady Endre promenade in front of the palace.

The women's relay team „MATE Students” came second place: Batmunkh Odonchimeg, Khaliunaa Enkhbaatar; Altanbagana Aminzaya; Khuyagbat Saikhansar.
