MATE students at the A3C International Conference in Osijek, Croatia
Thanks to the Pannonia Scholarship, both Hungarian and international students of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) had the opportunity to participate in the 2nd International Scientific Conference “Agricultural Challenges to Climate Change (A3C) in Osijek, Croatia, from 16-19 September 2025.
MATE delegation included professors, PhD and MSc students, scholarship holders of the Stipendium Hungaricum program, as well as an MSc student from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters program.
The conference brought together researchers and experts from across the region to address one of today’s most pressing challenges – the impact of climate change on agriculture and the pathways towards sustainable solutions.
Our students presented their research, exchanged knowledge, and explored innovative approaches to resilience in agriculture.
Beyond the academic sessions, participants took part in field trips to vineyards and agroforestry systems, showcasing how traditional practices and modern innovations can work in harmony.
We are grateful to our partners at the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences in Osijek, Croatia, for hosting this excellent conference, and we congratulate our students on their valuable contributions.
