Our Beginnings
The Entz Ferenc College for Advanced Studies was established in 2025 by students enrolled in the BSc in Viticulture and Oenology and BSc in Horticultural Engineering programmes. During its first year, the College brought together around 30 members, eight of whom were selected to take on different responsibilities in its operation, including event planning, member integration, and communication.
Aims and Goals of the Entz Ferenc College for Advanced Studies
The primary aim of the College is to provide students with opportunities to develop beyond the University's curriculum and to grow into responsible and capable professionals.
Our second objective is to help members envision the professional opportunities available to them after graduation and understand the steps that can help them achieve those goals.
We also aim to strengthen the recognition and reputation of our professions and fields while creating a solid and reliable bridge between university education and professional life through practical opportunities.
Our Current Situation and Future Possibilities
At present, our College consists entirely of Hungarian students. As a result, international students joining the College may initially encounter events held in Hungarian and may need to participate with the help of translation. At the same time, this presents an opportunity: international members can help us introduce more events in English or other languages and contribute to making the College increasingly accessible to an international community. We hope that international students will join our community and help us create more opportunities for students to develop professionally, learn from one another, and enjoy university life together at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
