Colleges for Advanced Studies

Last modified: 27. August 2026

Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) places great emphasis on nurturing and supporting talented students. As part of this commitment, the University also supports the activities of its professional student communities, known as colleges for advanced studies (szakkollégiumok).

Building on the experience gained over recent years, these communities now work in close cooperation with representatives of various professional fields and experts from the University’s partner organisations. Their aim is to further enhance students’ knowledge and practical experience in a range of disciplines, including agricultural sciences, environmental and engineering sciences, as well as food and economic sciences.

The following colleges for advanced studies operate across the campuses of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences:

Agricultural Water Management College for Advanced Studies (Szarvas)
