The Imre Dimény College for Advanced Studies in Crop Production (Dimény Imre Növénytermesztési Szakkollégium) aims to serve as a professional talent development center for full-time bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences in the fields of crop sciences and closely related discipline areas (horticulture, agriculture, regenerative farming, plant protection, precision agriculture, and digitalization).

Our program includes reaching out to and gathering university students interested in crop production, organizing lectures, courses, workshops, training sessions, field trips, competitions, and professional conferences related to the field, as well as providing mentorship opportunities for skill development and self-improvement.

Our diverse, practice-oriented program calendar offers comprehensive insights into the latest innovations and challenges of modern agriculture. Combining scientific knowledge sharing, practical experience, and skill development, our events cover the entire spectrum of crop production:

• Agro-digitalization, Precision Agriculture, and Robotics: The core of our activities focuses on advanced technologies, ranging from agrometeorological applications and weather stations to precision crop production, precision horticulture, agricultural robotics, and drone technologies.

• Sustainability and Innovative Agrotechnologies: We place special emphasis on sustainable soil cultivation and farming practices, including no-till workshops, humic acid technologies, practical water management, and landscape flooding techniques.

• Corporate and Industrial Partnerships (Field, Farm and Industry Visits): In collaboration with key market players (Syngenta, Corteva, Väderstad, Bonafarm, Danuba, Sencrop) and leading agricultural enterprises (Hód-Mezőgazda Zrt., Hungrana Zrt., Falker Bt., Busa Bt., Remény Farm), we provide direct insight into large-scale farming and the processing industry.

• Field Trips and Trade Fairs: Members regularly visit premier industry exhibitions, including AGROmashEXPO and FeHoVa.

• Talent Management and Skill Building: We support academic growth through TDK preparation and professional communication training.
