Nagyváthy János College for Advanced Studies

The Nagyváthy János College for Advanced Studies was established in 2015 as the first college for advanced studies at the Georgikon Campus of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) in Keszthely. Its members are students enrolled in degree programmes offered at the Georgikon Campus who actively participate in lectures, professional programmes and other events organised by the Campus, as well as in study trips arranged by the College.

One of the College’s main objectives is to provide students with opportunities for professional growth and academic advancement through participation in round-table discussions, lectures and study trips related to their fields of study. At the same time, the College is committed to fostering a strong and supportive community that encourages and prepares its members for active engagement in public and social life throughout their future careers.

Particular emphasis is placed on supporting exceptionally talented and motivated students by providing opportunities for professional development, a stimulating community and an inspiring environment in which they can further enhance their knowledge, skills and individual potential.
