E³UDRES² European University with EU Commissioner
Late September E³UDRES² - European University Alliance had the opportunity to have a meeting with EU Commissioner Mariya Gabriel Talking about the profile, key values and activities of the E³UDRES² Alliance in addressing non-urban regional challenges, E³UDRES² got to emphasize the alignment of its priorities with the European Commission's policies and strategies in higher education, innovation and development in rural regions, including the StartUp Villages Initiative.
It was incredibly empowering to learn about the commissioner's respect and support to these issues, and her views on the important role universities of applied sciences can play within regional ecosystems - what a great impulse for our further work!
