We are pleased to announce that MATE International Scholarship Program (MISP) has been established by MATE - Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (former Szent István University).
In order to assist our internationalisation activities in line with the governmental eastern and southern opening strategies, MATE has established MATE International Scholarship Program (MISP) in order to provide new prospects to a larger number of beneficiaries.
What is MATE International Scholarship Program (MISP)?
MISP is primarily aimed at newcomer candidates from the African, Asian and South American continent. It refers to programs at BSc and MSc level. The same list of study programs are offered as in Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program. MATE International Scholarship Program is intended to those who are motivated to achieve better academic results and are ready to match their professional goals with MATE’s dedication to research and innovation.
Eligibility criteria:
- complete Stipendium Hungaricum application submitted in DreamApply or
- complete Scholarship for Christian Young People application submitted in apply.scyp.hu
- no previous enrolled student status at MATE.
MISP is to provide the last 90 credits (a little less than half the tuition fee) at BSc level and the last 60 credits (half the tuition fee) at MSc level free of charge for MISP holders. In order to have a smoother visa application process, MISP is designed to offer fee waiver at the second half of studies.
IMPORTANT: One-yearly tuition fee has to be paid before starting studies.
