MATE presented itself at the Hungarian-Uzbek Business Forum

On March 27, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtijor Saidov and the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó officially opened the new Embassy of Uzbekistan in Budapest, as a result of which all members of the Organization of Turkic States now have diplomatic representation in our country. Rector Dr. Csaba Gyuricza and International Director Dr. Dávid Bencsik participated in the special event.

After the official opening of the Embassy, the delegations participated in the Hungarian-Uzbek Business Forum organized by the HEPA Hungarian Export Development Agency. The 60 businessmen who appeared at the forum were greeted by Minister Péter Szijjártó, and after the speeches of the foreign ministers and the head of HEPA, MATE's International Director, Dr. Dávid Bencsik, gave a presentation. He presented to a large number of Uzbek visitors the university's past and present in Uzbekistan, as well as its future plans, and emphasized that MATE is not only a partner in education in the region, but also offers a solution for the business sector and the state: it guarantees agricultural efficiency and food safety at the same time.

The university's innovations, state-of-the-art technological achievements, and research results are a serious competitive advantage for MATE's partners anywhere in the world, so bridges between MATE and Uzbek partners should be built, concluded his presentation the International Director.
