The E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators project celebrates one year of joint work on developing science strategies in Hungary

Representatives from the six founding countries of the E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators project will meet on 5 and 6 October 2023 at the Hungarian University of Agricultural and Life Sciences to discuss and celebrate the past year of joint work.

The cooperation will focus on developing joint research and innovation strategies. The E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators project aims to create a common strategy and roadmap to make the region covered by the university alliance a European Centre for Education and Innovation for Smart and Sustainable Regions as soon as possible.

In addition, the project aims to develop structured support programmes to encourage the scientific communities to fully embrace the modern concepts of open science, open innovation, open education and engaged science and engaged education.

One of the main intentions of the E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators project is to create fair conditions in the area of institutional human resources for research strategies and regulation. This includes addressing major challenges such as the introduction of new career assessment and joint recruitment strategies.

Another priority is the development of a structured and integrated framework linking all Research and Innovation ecosystems and the E³UDRES² knowledge triangle, which includes education, research and innovation. The project actively supports dialogue with other similar collaborations, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and policy makers.

Through an innovative and collaborative approach, the E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators project aims to transform the region into an outstanding centre of research and innovation. This initiative aims to create a sustainable and smart future for all European citizens.

The project is funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe programme (Project Number: 101071317).
